On Saturday evening a young person was attacked in the woods near the Castlemilk Youth Complex. Fortunately the young person had the presence of mind to make their way to the door of the Youth Complex to seek assistance. The Youth Complex staff contacted the emergency services who took the young person to hospital for medical attention.

The matter is now being investigated by the Police. There is nothing to suggest that there is an increased risk to the young people in the area, however, there will be a drop off service in operation over the next week or so.
