YOGA FOR GIRLS 11- 18 YEARS OLD AND IT”S FREE!
Come and join Babs at the Youth Stress Centre in The Youth Complex on a Monday fro 5-6pm to de-stress with some yoga and relaxation.
YOGA is fun to do and provides a non-competitive environment where you can learn to be strong and flexible; physically, mentally and emotionally.
Social, academic and family pressures can cause a great deal of stress and anxiety. YOGA provides an opportunity to ‘turn off’ from stress and take a break from studying, work, internet, mobile phone etc. It creates a sense of calm and emotional well-being and helps to build confidence and a positive self image.
WHAT DO I NEED?
Something comfortable and loose/stretchy to wear, leggings or tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt and a jumper. If you have a Yoga Mat you can bring it along but we have some here. Oh, and a bottle of water.
